Fluorescence spectrometers or fluorometers, measure the intensity of light or photons emitted (emission spectrum) from a sample after it has absorbed photons (excitation spectrum) to allow analysts to study molecular structure or binding.

JASCO FP-8000 series offer a wide dynamic range from UV-Visible up to NIR. They can detect greater than 6.5 orders of concentration without sample dilution or modification. This high sensitivity of fluorescence leads to greater limits of detection, while potentially using less sample material, which is important when working with limited quantities. An automatic cut filter excludes higher order diffraction while faster scan speeds allow for rapid 3D spectra and phosphorescence measurements.

Spectra manager software is designed for ease-of-use and enables one computer with one set of software to control multiple instruments (e.g. UV-VIS, FTIR, CD, Raman) saving money and operator time.
